BHP Billiton is the world’s largest diversified resources company, operating in a great number of countries that many of us couldn’t find on a map. Its key divisions are iron ore and petroleum, but it’s also a major player in aluminium, coal, copper, diamonds, lead, nickel, manganese, uranium and zinc. BHP has been investing heavily to increase future production, and in the last two years has successfully exploited its market dominance.
